Daily Affirmations For Success

By Albert PerryOct 30, 2021

Most folks have heard of affirmations. There are affirmations for success, affirmations for losing weight, and basically any positive change you want to make, there will be an affirmation for it! If you’ve never tried them, the idea of self-talk can be a little weird. Saying out loud to yourself how amazing you are can seem off-putting, There is, however a fair amount of science behind the practice. Let’s look at some effective ways to go about it. Even if you’re a skeptic, it won’t hurt to understand why positive affirmations became so popular.

What Are Affirmations?

Simply put, affirmations are positive phrases or statements used to challenge the minds’ negative or unhelpful perception of something, someone or some issue.

You may choose to use positive affirmations to be self-motivated or to encourage positive change in your life. Maybe you’d like to boost your self-esteem. If you often find yourself caught up in negative self-talk, affirmations for success can be used to combat these patterns in your subconscious mind. The reprogramming of these patterns is essential to achieve the goals which you’ve set up for your future.

How To Implement Affirmations For Success.

While talking out loud to yourself in positive phrases may have some benefits, I’ll give you a completely different take on this that really works! To make certain we get the most out of our affirmation, we are going to add some bells and whistles to make it formidable We need four elements to implement your affirmation for success.

  1. Imagery – A visual of what you are want to bring into your life.
  2. Movement – Most of the brain is dedicated to moving our body through space. So if we attach movement to the visual, we increase the odds that we will actually bring about the change we want.
  3. Conscious Breathing –
  4. The affirmation in a short, easy to repeat phrase.

The Affirmation For Success Exercise

Pretend you have a magic beach ball.

Hold it about 18 inches in front of your chest. It’s about the size of a soccer ball.

Now inhale while counting to 6 and open your arms out as if the beach ball is inflating. You’re still holding it, but not too tight.

Then exhale while counting to 8 and the ball goes back to soccer ball size.
Let go of the idea your muscles are moving you.

Imagine, instead, that your breath is moving you.

Now once you have the rhythm of the exercise, make sure you have a clear picture of what you would like to manifest.

While you inflate the ball, see what you want to manifest come alive inside the ball. See it as clearly as possible. Keep breathing, moving and as you inhale and expand the ball the picture becomes clear. When you exhale and the ball becomes smaller, imagine that the picture you saw inside the ball of what you want travels up your arms and into your heart. This symbolizes getting what your heart desires.

How do you feel? You just changed your breath, connected it to movement, visualized a concept, and in the process created some neuron clusters in your brain that are connected to manifesting what you desire!

Pretty cool right?

Summing It All Up

One definition of Manifestation is: an indication of the existence or presence or nature of some person or thing.

Another is: an unveiling.

One more is: a clear appearance.
So when I talk about manifesting your most optimum, authentic Life, it’s not so much that we are creating our true authentic life path, but bringing into view what was already there, dissipating the veil of illusion.
We all have the potential to live our dream life, to live the way we were born to live.
Mostly, we block our potential with other people’s conditioning.

We live for others’ approval.

We do what we think we’re supposed to do.

We survive, instead of thrive.

This “Dream Life” potential already exists within us, we only have to claim it and believe it’s there…

and then LIVE IT!

This simple exercise stimulate your imagination to create the neural networks necessary to bring your dreams into reality. You are cultivating new dendrites {A short arm-like protuberance from a nerve cell (a neuron). Dendrites from neurons next to one another are tipped by synapses (tiny transmitters and receivers for chemical messages between the cells). The word “dendrite” means “branched like a tree.” It comes from the Greek “dendron” (tree)}.

When you create thee dendrites, you’re learning to realize your dream-life is already present and you only have to unveil it.

Now It’s Up To You

Nothing happens if you don’t take action. You go on with your life. That’s a choice, and it’s not the wrong choice, it’s just a choice. I would love to see you fulfill your dreams. I would be ecstatic if you become the person that you were designed to be. Everyone has a niche. Everyone has a purpose. Each and every person is gifted with something that when manifested can take them to heights that they only ever had in their dreams. But why keep it in your dreams? Why not unveil it and bring it into the real world where you can truly enjoy it.
Just try this exercise. Do it every day for 6 weeks. Then take an assessment. What’s different on that day, 6 weeks from when you began, from the day before you started. I’ll be willing to bet a lot will be different if you are willing to be consistent and take action. It doesn’t cost a dime. There are no side effects. Only the possibility that you will realize your dreams.

Shoot me an email when you’re at the 6-week point. I want to know what you.ve manifested!

  1. Oh I love this affirmation of success exercise that you describe with holding a ball, I will certainly start doing that. It reminded me of the book “The Power of Positive Thinking”. If we keep on telling ourselves that we can do something, then it is easier to achieve, than with a negative mindset. And you are so right in saying that we get conditioned to do what others expect from us, and we end up surviving, rather than thriving, and that is how I feel my life is at the moment. This has given me motivation to realize my dream life. Thank you.

  2. What a brilliant idea. I’ve read about daily affirmations but never tried them before. I really think that they can be so effective and I’m going to try your 6-week challenge and see what I can change. I like the exercise of imagining inflating a ball and having your desire go up your arms into your heart. Brilliant!

  3. Thank you, this is a really useful practice for me. It seems similar to the Law of Attraction. Imagining positive results and goals will make you unconsciously directed toward that path. Your positive affirmation technique is very useful and it really brings back my mood. I will practice it every day and hopefully, it will have a good result 🙂

    1. Yes, there is law of attractions in this, just with more power adding movement and breath. Let me know how it goes! Thanks for trying and commenting 🙂 To Your HEALTH!

  4. I must say I haven’t heard of this method of manifestation before, and I am definitely going to try it out. Even if it doesn’t work as well as I would like, I am sure deep breathing is a great stress reliever. So before you start, you say you need to have an image in your head of what you want to manifest? I think the hard part will be choosing the right thing for yourself and not choosing something for the wrong reasons.

    1. Yes, If all else fails, the breathing is very beneficial. I developed the method out of my own personal Qigong practice, which I have been doing for 32 years now. I realized that if I added affirmations to my practice, they took hold with more frequency. regarding the wrong reasons: ask yourself, “does this help me love myself and those around me unconditionally?” If you get a yes, it’s for the right reasons 🙂 To your health!

  5. Hi Al Perry, honestly, your post on daily affirmation is something that I have read for the first time in self development. It did engross me into the subject as I found it very interesting.

I took a look at the video, and the breathing techniques and the simple exercise seemed like  dancing moves. Can the breathing exercise be made to the tune of some soft music? Implementing affirmation to success through a visual imagery, movement and conscious breathing.

I am coming back to read the entire post once again and try the techniques watching the video and check out the benefits it can do, next  week.

    Thanks,

    Ernest

    1. Thanks Ernest, for taking the time to comment! I’m so happy it was helpful. Yes, if a little music will help you move that will work great! Qigong is like dancing, to the rhythm of nature. I have a bunch of 5 minute videos on my channel with different exercises if you’d like you can subscribe. I try and add 2 or three each week. Thanks again.
